Spinal manipulation and mobilisation are techniques from the field of manual medicine (as is massage). They are based on treating the musculoskeletal system with specific hand techniques and movements. The techniques are painless and are used to restore the function of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, nerves, bones).
It is a good idea to have a targeted trigger point massage or a targeted medical massage before a mobilisation or manipulation treatment (the difference lies in the intensity of the movements).
